Ibiza Summer 2002

A BIG thanks to all the guys who have kept Jumpstart ticking over this summer while Scott has been sunning himself in Ibiza!

Cheers to Tom Dinnis and Richie Marshall from Definitive for allowing Jumpstart to co-promote the excellent Revolution night in Camberwell, thanks also to T-Money and Gus for the Funky Buddah and also Brenhan and Katie at the Breakfast Group...also the DJ's...Tom & Richie (again), Nick Boot, Tony Rebel, Andy Colver, Sam Blamire and of course Neil Chapman and Simon Nash whom we mess around regularly...surely they deserve it!

SHAZAM
Desperate to find out the name of a tune but don’t want to go into a moody record shop and have them sneer at your cat-in-a-microwave singing technique? Can’t face asking the DJ? Well, Shazam may have the answer with their unique sound identification service, available through your mobile phone handset.
Currently only available in the UK, the Shazam service works by dialling ‘2580’ on your mobile and letting them hear approximately 20 seconds of the music that needs to be identified. You’ll be immediately texted back a Shazam Tag, with the artist and title. Each text will cost around 50p and will appear on your next phone bill. If you ever encounter an unsuccessful search due to poor sound quality, the track being too short or not being logged on the Shazam database, they’ll give you your next search for free. You can also create your own homepage on their website for all your ‘tagged’ tunes, which you can later use to order records or send to mates.
